Haydan trained in musical theatre at the VCA and Showfit in Melbourne, and studied with LA acting coach Howard Fine in his Melbourne and Los Angeles studios.
He played Tick in Priscilla Queen of the Desert for Norwegian Cruise Line across the 2016 and 2017 seasons, under director Dean Bryant, then joined the Michael Cassel Group's Australian production as Frank and Tick understudy, directed by Simon Phillips. He toured Australia as Sammy in The Wedding Singer for David Venn Enterprises, sang Chris in Miss Saigon at Riverside Theatres, earning a BroadwayWorld Sydney nomination for Best Actor in a Musical, and played the Wolf and Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods at the Concourse. On screen, you may have caught him on ABC in Mikki vs the World, The Unlisted, or The Doctor Blake Mysteries.
These days he is based in Adelaide, where he sings at weddings, corporate nights and festivals, teaches voice, and makes One More Story, a calm children's storytelling project. Different rooms, same job. Give the audience something true and let the song do the rest.
