Haydan Hawkins is an Adelaide based actor and singer who has played leads on Australian stages, on ABC television, and at sea.
He trained in musical theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts and Showfit in Melbourne, then studied for six years with LA acting coach Howard Fine. His professional debut was a wombat in Possum Magic in 2013. Since then: Tick in Priscilla Queen of the Desert for Norwegian Cruise Line across the 2016 and 2017 seasons, then the Michael Cassel Group's Australian production as Frank and Tick understudy. Chris in Miss Saigon for Packemin, which brought a BroadwayWorld Sydney nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. Sammy in The Wedding Singer for David Venn Enterprises, touring Australia and New Zealand. The Wolf and Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods at the Concourse. On screen, ABC's Mikki vs the World, The Unlisted for ABC and Netflix, and The Doctor Blake Mysteries.
He is an actor who sings, which is a different animal from a singer who acts. These days he is based in Adelaide, singing at weddings, corporate nights and festivals, teaching voice, and making One More Story, a calm storytelling series for children.
